WELCOME TO FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION

Programs for Children, Teens, and Adults

First Holy Communion is a special milestone in a child’s faith journey. At Immaculate Heart of Mary, we work with parents to prepare children to receive Jesus in the Eucharist through prayer, learning, and participation in parish life.

Who Is This Program For

  • Children who are in 3rd grade or above who are baptized.
  • Registered in Religious Education
  • Parent and child will attend monthly sacramental prep classes.

What the Program Includes

  • Regular Faith formation class attendance
  • First Reconciliation preparation meets once a month in the first semester
  • Eucharist preparation meets in the second semester
  • Fall semester is required


Registration


Registration is required for Faith formation, first reconciliation, and first communion prep. Registration is in the Religious Education Building.
